Nana Nkanomako IV

Nana Nkanomako IV is the Chief of Nkyekyer Grabodo and serves as the Krontihene of the Shama Traditional Area in Ghana. She is a distinguished traditional leader, advocate for community development, and an influential voice in national and international discourse.

In 2025, Nana Nkanomako IV was among the nine candidates who contested for the position of Western Regional Representative on Ghana's Council of State, reflecting her growing influence and commitment to public service and national development.

Her leadership has earned her opportunities to represent Ghana at various international forums and engagements. She has represented Ghana in Finland, Oman, Zambia, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and France through the Africa Mothers' Initiative, and was also appointed to represent Ghana at the 79th United Nations General Assembly held in New York, United States of America.

Nana Nkanomako IV is passionate about leadership, women's empowerment, entrepreneurship, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. Through her traditional leadership and international engagements, she continues to champion initiatives that promote social inclusion, economic empowerment, and community transformation.

Honours and awards include the 100 Most Influential Trailblazers Award (2025), Africa Corporate Summit Award (2025), Africa Most Influential Trailblazers Conference Award (2025), Africa Leadership and Entrepreneurship Award (2025), Africa 100 Most Influential Women Conference Award (2026), and the Africa Corporate and Entrepreneurship Conference Peace Summit Award (2026) — all from the British Council.
