Where we work
The Western Region of Ghana.
A coastal area where mining, cocoa, timber, oil and gas industries are predominantly located — and where our scholarships, advocacy and livelihood support take root.
Our focus
Education against child labour. Support for the aged.
Emmacel Foundation works in the Western Region of Ghana — a coastal area where mining, cocoa, timber, oil and gas industries are predominantly located.
With our focus on science education, it is more likely for the youth to be employed after school, reducing the rate of unemployment and poverty. We encourage more children to go to school by offering them scholarships — a lasting way to prevent child labour, a major setback in coastal communities.
Our livelihood support programme is aimed at the aged and the sick, improving their standard of living across our catchment communities.
Our communities
All in the Shama District of the Western Region — with the aim of extending across the whole of Ghana.
