Capacity Building
We view capacity building as an investment in the sustainability and agency of the communities and the lives with whom we interact. Such investments have far-reaching effects and trickle down to indirect and second-generation families.
We promote human dignity and a sense of self-worth within our communities by ensuring that we activate the agency and abilities of residents in these communities. There is profound joy in seeing people stand up for themselves.

- Scholarship schemes helping young girls enter STEM programs in colleges and universities.
- Training and start-up funds for residents in Shama and its environs.
- Hundreds of youths trained every quarter in dressmaking, hairdressing and shoemaking.
Livelihood Support for the Aged & Vulnerable
In most developing countries, the inability to meet immediate basic needs is constantly staring most families in the eyes. We believe in long-term investment and sustainable families — but empty stomachs are real obstacles to vital interventions.
To this end, we provide essential livelihood goods to the most vulnerable in our communities. Children, the aged, persons living with disabilities, and widows are our priority.

- Support became even more pertinent with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Infrastructural Development
Imagine what an ICT center would do for a community that has never seen a computer, or a decent clinic in a village several kilometers from an urban center. Our targeted communities are usually ignored by policy or the lack of funds to undertake crucial social infrastructure.
Since 2011, Emmacel has committed itself to providing holistic interventions in the lives of the residents of Shama and its environs — engaging community leaders and consulting broadly on how to provide cost-effective basic social amenities.

- Donation of CCTV cameras to Shama Senior High School (SHASS) to improve campus security.
- Infrastructural development solves immediate needs like schools and clinics for education and health.
- It alleviates poverty by creating external and indirect jobs in our communities.
Advocacy & Campaign
To engineer organic social change, it is important to engender a sense of ownership of the change being promoted within the community. That is why we believe in picking up social issues and creating the necessary awareness.
Through this, we build vital collaboration with development partners and state agencies, and promote teamwork and participation in our targeted communities.

Health Check
As part of our contribution to improving global health, we provide routine health screening aligned with the WHO's commemoration of different health issues.
Health screening provides meaningful benefits to both body and mind: early detection of serious health conditions, prevention of disease progression, savings on vital health check-ups, and peace of mind to enjoy life.

Kingdom Business
Emmacel Foundation was established with strong roots in the church and, as part of its core values, remains committed to giving back to the church and supporting its mission and ministry. We believe that God is the focal point of our lives and that the church plays a vital role in promoting faith, strengthening communities, and transforming lives. In line with this belief, the Foundation supports churches and Christian ministries through various forms of assistance aimed at enhancing their capacity to serve God and their communities.
Over the years, Emmacel Foundation has supported a number of churches with infrastructural development, equipment, logistics, and financial assistance. These interventions have included the construction and renovation of church facilities, provision and repair of windows, construction of vestries, and construction and refurbishment of pulpits. The Foundation has also donated vehicles to support church activities and evangelism, as well as essential building materials such as cement and sand.
In recognition of the importance of nurturing the next generation, the Foundation has provided musical instruments and other resources to support both adult and children’s ministries. These contributions are intended to create an enabling environment for worship, teaching, discipleship, and effective ministry.
Beyond infrastructure and material support, Emmacel Foundation also contributes to the development of Christian leadership. The Foundation has provided financial assistance to trained pastors pursuing seminary education and supported individuals involved in evangelism and outreach programmes. Through these initiatives, the Foundation seeks to strengthen the capacity of church leaders and support the spread of the Gospel.
Going forward, Emmacel Foundation remains committed to partnering with churches and Christian organisations to promote sustainable development, strengthen ministry work, and support initiatives that positively impact individuals, families, and communities. Through these efforts, the Foundation continues to demonstrate its commitment to its Christian values and its belief in faith, service, compassion, and giving back to the church and society.
